How to upgrade your Name-Server in 3 steps?

Locate your hint file:


1		Your hint file is called probably something like: root.hint root.cache root.ca named.hint

Just click on the link below to see the updated hint file.
Replace your current hint file with the new hint file:


2		hint file

Restart your server:


3		Usually by entering the command /usr/sbin/ndc restart, or reboot your computer.

Congratulations, now you have upgraded your Name-Server!

If you have successfully upgraded your Name-Servers and you would like to be known as a Next Generation Internet ISP or Public ISP, please click here. We will announce your DNS upgrade to the Public-Root.

Your corporation will be listed in the Public DNS Provider Lists.
